Cad Drafter - New Bedford

CAD Drafter
Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions by computer Aided Design (CAD) system.
Uses CAD equipment to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, -and-amp; diagrams.
Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture.
Makes simple decisions but refers most questions/problems to Engineers or supervisor.
Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with Engineering terminology.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.

Requirements
Knowledge and experience with AutoCad
Knowledge and experience with Solid works a plus.
Experience with drafting for the metal fabrication industry a plus.
Microsoft office.
Knowledge of GDT
